7 Until Squarespace rolls out a fantastic calendar module Vuela had a custom calendar solution developed that integrates perfectly with any Squarespace template.
Set your Squarespace Journal to automatically populate the calendar view. This solution has the option to use a Squarespace Journal feed to automatically populate the calendar view. Dates on the calendar that contain entries are highlighted. Click the date to view a list of entry titles posted for that date. When you click on an entry title you are then taken to the full entry page in the Squarespace Journal.
Or edit the calendar directly. The calendar view can be edited by posting to the Squarespace Journal, or manually via a separate calendar administration. The calendar's administration can also be used to set events for recurring dates (ie: every wed or every 10th of the month), or to set an event to span several days in a row. Using the administration the calendar can also be customized to change colors and other basic elements. More advanced customization is available via css. The calendar can be modified to any size that works for your particular layout.

Installation & Hosting Requirements. Because Squarespace doesn't allow installation of server side scripts this calendar requires hosting and setup services. Vuela can provide the setup service and hosting for the calendar. The calendar administration can be branded with your logo.

Hi guys -- just an update to let you know that offering this calendar to the public is currently on hold while I work out a hosting and billing system. I hope to have things up and running soon!

i still need to setup a system to easily provide this tool publically (hosting and billing issues), and am also working out some bugs with it. I discovered something not working the way I intend and am researching options for the fix. I will update this post if and when I get things sorted out. Sorry I can't be of more help regarding this! I am busy with higher priority items right now but I do intend to offer a fantastic calendar solution in the future (unless Squarespace beats me to it!).
Looks neat and pretty. Would love to have this calendar on my Squarespace website. But hope you'll be offering a free trial so I can test this out first.

Currently, I am just manually entering them into an HTML page and having that serve the purpose. However, this is quite time consuming and I have to stay up on it daily. I would rather have something automatic. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Most blogs and websites put calendars on their design so that online viewers will be kept updated with their activities and schedules. It's another way of keeping the blog and website up-to-date with the latest happenings.
